Less Wordy Wednesday, Kelly-style.

It is almost unfathomable that 6 months have already passed since the first time I met my baby boy, in his foster parents' apartment in Nowon-gu, Seoul, Korea. (Read my original post about our meeting here.)

(May 4th, 2009)

(now.)

I can't remember not having you.
I love you like there's no tomorrow.

Happy Six Months!!! I can't believe it's been six months already... and yet, I can. Wow.

(Today is going to be a very wordy Wednesday for me I think... we'll see)

And, can I please have your haircut and outfit?! Pretty please?!

What a gorgeous photo! Both of them. And I love that little Rubin can now wear Buddy's hand-me-downs. Look out in the mail - another box is coming.

Oh, that Rubin, he is pure sweetness. I love these two photos of you guys. I'm glad you were a little wordy today on your six month anniversary of meeting :)

6 months home! Congratulations! Rubin is simply adorable. It really is cute how he is watching you in the first picture. Thanks for posting a link to your first meeting - I so enjoyed reading that.

Wow - we worry about attachment and wonder how the whole adjustment is going to go and now just look at these pictures. From "who is this?" to "this is my mom and this is where I belong". A wonderful, amazing, and beautiful gift. Thanks for the post - it reminds me too of how far our children come in a (relatively) short period of time. And happy 6 months! Finalization - here you come!!

I agree with Jessica--that second photo is just beautiful. I love the transition in Rubin's face from "Who is this lady?" to absolute familiarity. What a blessing.
