Our pants predicament.

Theo has grown over 3 inches in the past 5 months...
I noticed this morning, when we were getting ready for school.
I could not find a pair of pants to fit him.
His 4Ts are about 2.5 inches too short.
And he'll have to gain about 10 pounds before he fits into his 5Ts.
Tall and skinny.
What a problem to have...

they must take after us in unintentionally copying each other.
over the weekend we discovered that Zeek doesn't fit into ANY of his footie pajamas (all 4t, too)...like, the ones he wears all the time.
they don't even go up over his shoulders. ???
i had to put him in a pair with no feet!

We use the pants with the adjustable waist elastic things in them. We do children's place distressed jeans, all the way. And they look adorable cuffed if the 5t is too long. Zeek's are a little long on him, but the 4ts are silly short.

Have fun with that. :)

Love the fur on the jacket! so cute.

I want to know who decides on kids' clothing sizes. We have a pair of jeans for O that are made for some weird euro-supermodel-baby body. Low rise, skinny leg, boot cut jeans for a 2-yr-old? Come on!

i know this predicament. exactly. and to make it worse, michael thinks he needs to hike his pants up to his waist. all you can see are two knobbly ankles hanging out the bottom of those short pants. i'll keep sending hand-me-downs your way. i've started to see this same problem with ella just this year.

1. I need that fishie thingie in your sidebar.

2. Lucky boy! Not quite my predicament (it's always my thighs... why won't they fit in the cute pants?!) But I've noticed that Spencer is tall for sizes as well. Which results in walking out of a lot of pants... which is cute at his age, but probably not at Theo's age. He needs those fancy belt-suspenders that suck the pants in!
