Mission accomplished.

14.14 miles.

Up until yesterday morning,
the farthest distance I'd ever run was 13.1 miles.
I've biked and roller bladed around Lake Monona.
Yesterday, we ran it.
The. Entire. Route.
Two years ago I would have told you that
I could never,
would never,
did not care or dare to...

But right now? I can't wait for next weekend.
To run the Lakeshore in Chicago with Krista.

Bring on 16 miles.

Wow. I'm speechless. Literally. Move the decimal over two spots (to the left) and you have my distance. Maybe.

Congratulations! That is so awesome! I ran the Chicago marathon in '07 and I remember when I was training I never thought I would be able to hit 9 miles. Each time you hit a milestone it just gives you more motivation to keep going! I'm so excited to watch your progress.

Oh I wish I had your motivation! Congratulations for reaching this milestone. I've walked and biked that--but running--nope.

ps - and I don't find it the least bit ironic that the word verification word I have to put in to leave my comment is: slougo That was me! Slow I go...but I still did it!
