As in, take cover.
Because we've been hit with the Great Poop of 2009.
Which is why Rubin was wearing a towel last night instead of a diaper... because his buns are so chapped, I couldn't bear to think of wrapping them tightly.
So I didn't.
I stripped him (and his brothers, who wouldn't be left out... see below) down, and draped them in dish towels.
Much better than scrubbing stray poop off of the sofa.
And much gentler on the tooshie.
(I do what I gotta to get by somedays... Heck, let the truth be told on Wednesday.)

Aha! So *that's* what happened ... we were all wondering what lead to that funny photo. Although I don't imagine it's ALL that funny to find poop on your couch. Poor Rubin's buns though. : (
Oh my goodness. I have yet to be hit with a poop storm...now I'm scared.
didn't know that could happen - maybe i have been living in a dream world????!!!!
I have an excellent recipe for diaper rash that we use at the hospital. Let me know if his rash/chapped cheeks doesn't clear up.
And I love the towels!
Poor chapped bunny-buns! Darn poop storms. This totally isn't their season.
Poor Rubin!!! We've had some poop issues with the teeth the past few weeks. But not this bad! :-(
That said, I'm interested in Janiece's recipe... especially if it doesn't contain Lanolin!
The Spring of 2009 = Ethan had 17 days straight of diahrrea. I feel your pain!
Wait..."Poop Storm?" Is he sick or does this stuff just happen with kids? Dear God!
not the first season of poop storm to hit the samson house.... just ask lorie lu!
why didn't i think of wrapping the boys in towels when the liquid poop storm hit?!
