Not enough time in the day.

I've written three or four blog posts in my head over the past week... I feel like I have so much to say, so many things to document for my boys, but there just isn't enough time in the day! I think I've used this saying here and there at other points in my lifetime, but never have I meant it like now.  I have three little boys to keep up with, and some days it feels like they are winning the race!

Rubin has been home for 5 weeks now.
He had his first birthday yesterday.
Dave had his 38th birthday last week.
I'm busy getting our house ready for this weekend, as we'll celebrate Rubin's baptism, his birthday, and his big brother's 2nd birthday on Sunday.
Tomorrow Dave and I will celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary.
June is a crazy month!

I'll get around to all of this at some point.
I hope.

But for tonight, I wanted to write about tomorrow...

In the morning we'll attend our first play date with the Families through Korean Adoption group in our community. I'm excited to meet the mamas and the kids. I truly can not wait to share with these women, in person, like I really haven't been able to share, yet.

Theo and I have been talking about it all day. He has so many questions. At first, he thought that we would be going to Korea. I had to explain to him that our hosts (Max and Lily) were both born in Korea, but that they aren't there now.  At first he was saying, "I think I'm really going to like Korea, Mama," and then switched to, "I'll really love Max's house."

Then, he asked me if he would be the only little boy there who doesn't have "dark brown eyes."

I know he's going to have so many questions.

And I'm willing to bet that my new friends will be able to help me with some of my answers.

I feel your desire for more time! I know that when Claire comes home, I am going to have to cut out ALL of the extra stuff I do, and just spent time with my kids!

Can't wait to hear more about this weekend! Happy Birthday(s) to all!
