Playing tag.

I was tagged.
I've been blogging for almost 3 years now, and I don't think I've ever been tagged... virtually.
Rachel is a soon-to-be mama that I found online while searching through the hundreds (thousands??) of adoption blogs that I've found. From what I've read about her thus far, I know that she has connections to Wisconsin, and she is married to Josh, who is an interning Pastor. (Rach, forgive me, I know there is probably a more proper term for that!!)
You can see how all of this (I guess it's called a meme?) started on Rach's blogspot.

These are the rules:
*Tell everyone three things that you like about yourself.
*Tag three people to play along.
*Go on in peace.

So, here goes:

First of all, I'm learning how to admit when I am wrong. This is something that I struggled with during my late teens and early twenties. It's getting easier. Better. (Some might say that practice makes perfect...)

Secondly, I'm patient. A virtue that will come in very handy over the next few months (to a year, or more??) If I weren't patient, I never would have married Dave. Patience also comes in handy when you have 3-year-old and 1-year-old sons.

Lastly, I love to run. I never thought that I would be able to say that. I hated running distances when I was in high school. I did it, but never enjoyed it, throughout college and for a couple of years beyond. I challenged myself to run a half marathon this year, and I succeeded. I also came out of the experience in love with just going for a run. I love this about me... that in a situation of mind vs. matter, my mind is powerful, and we won.

And so, TAG, Greta, and Becca, and Norbyah (because I know for certain that the three of you are reading this...) YOU are it!

(How was that, Rachel??)

Also, I wanted to post a link to my friend Janiece's blogspot. There is a little girl in Russia who needs a loving family. I wanted to help get her story out... Take a look, and pass it on.

Also, please take a look at Sunny In Mommyland (especially if you are one of my sisters, or one of my sister-friends...) This family is in Korea right now meeting and bringing home their daughter. It's fabulous!!!

oh, and one more postscript, all of our paperwork for A.I.A.A. is in... I sent the rest today!

Love it!

I, too, am slowly becoming a lover of running. I have always ran, but just did because I knew I should. I'm starting to really enjoy it!

And yes, an "interning Pastor" is a great description for Josh's position. :)

A half marathon!? OK, that totally puts my 2.5 mile power walk to shame!

I accept your challenge! It will be up on my blog tomorrow. I am so glad you love running. I do too :-) And unless I am pregnant and shit even if I am! I would love to do the Madtown half with you again! Maybe even talk you into trying a FULL! I want to do another one...think about it! Love you.
