i run

early friday morning i'll board a plane for orlando, and early sunday morning i will run my first 26.2, with these lovely ladies by my side...

i am altogether consumed right now by nerves, excitement, gratitude, fear, faith, wonder...
i'm not sure if i'll blog again before i go.
if not, rest assured that i will tell you all about it when i get home.
here goes nothing...

(what a silly expression. here goes everything!)

OHHH - I'm SOO glad I checked in today!!!! I will be praying for you and thinking of you sweet blog friend!!

You've worked hard for this, you've earned this, YOU OWN THIS!!!

"Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired.''
George S. Patton, U.S. Army General, 1912 Olympian

LET THE MIND RUN THE BODY GIRL!!! Can not wait to hear!
