We've arrived in Seoul.

After a full day of traveling from Chicago, we arrived in Seoul this evening at about 4:45.
Our travels were uneventful. Colby got us to the airport in just under 2 hours this (yesterday) morning.  There was a little bit of panic at the Korean Air ticket counter when I didn't have the exact credit card that I'd used to purchase our tickets over the phone with me.  But it all worked out.

We had plenty of time at the airport... to grab a light lunch, and people watch. We met a nice young couple from Indiana who were also traveling to Seoul, to visit her parents, who apparently live very close to where we are staying.  They were kind enough to offer us their contact information "just in case." (I hope we don't need it!!)

The flight was... long.  We were counting this morning and I realized that this is my 4th overseas "vacation." Belgium, Spain, Hong Kong, and now Korea.  I have a feeling... not sure why... that this might be the last one, for a while!!

I also didn't realize that this is the first time for both my mom and Dave's mom. I'm so glad that they are both here with me.

And so... we got settled into our hotel room, ventured out for dinner, and are now taking turns in the shower and getting ready for bed.  I think I can speak for all of us when I say, "I'm really exhausted!!"

Tomorrow, we are going to work on finding out exactly where SWS is (I think the map might be a little misleading?) and, maybe, do some shopping??
Good night! (Good morning!!)
(Honey, when you read this, tell Theo and Emmett how much Mama loves them. And tell them I'm bringing Rubin home really, really soon!)

Yeah you arrived!! Glad to hear it was uneventful :)
To get to the SWS, just go up the hill on main road, so right from the front of the hill. You will need to cross the street - do so at the first crosswalk. Then continue up the hill to the 7-11, then turn left. It is at the corner! Not long now!

I am thinking of you constantly! How many hours were you in the air, exactly? And I can't wait to hear what Mom and Nanny think of the cuisine! The boys were perfect last night, although Theo insisted on a bubble bath and I gave in, so Dave had an issue early this morning... I'll let him tell you about that.
