Theo on birds.

Theo loves to watch the birds come and go from our backyard feeders. He prides himself on spotting the best birds first.

Tonight, during dinner, he was being silly and trying to trick me into looking outside for certain birds. He would say, "Mama! There's an oriole!!" And I would look out, seeing nothing.

Next, it was, "Mama! A woodpecker has landed!!" Again, nothing. I started to catch on.

Finally, he pulled out all of the stops. "Oh, Mama, A Great Blue Heron is splashing in our bird bath!!"

What a little treat that boy is!!! Two nights ago, Buddy was trying to scare me with a little bit of rubber band on a piece of wool. He was dangling it into my shower in hopes that I would shriek that it was a gecko or something....
