Written Word-less Wednesday?

Who am I trying to kid?

I was going to let this video stand alone, but there is just too much that I want to say...

I was cleaning up after dinner tonight and loved what I heard coming from our front family room: Emmett and Rubin playing together cooperatively. No crying. No yelling. Just play. Kind and gentle. I even heard Emmett say "thank!" to Rubin.

Heaven
on
earth.

I had to grab my Fl*p and see what they would let me capture.

(They are in diapers because dinner went terribly wrong.)

Spaghetti,
everywhere.

You'll see that my house is an utter disaster.
I have three little boys, people.
Excuse the train tracks... everywhere.

(You should've seen the kitchen...)

I couldn't help but love how the video ends.
Both of them doing something that they probably shouldn't...
for the sake of safety (mine!)
and toy preservation
... be doing.

But, why the heck not?! It ended up being so much fun.

And what's more important than that?!

Love.
Love the squishy little boys in diapers only.
Love them playing harmoniously together.
Love hearing your laughter.
But most of all...
Love "I don't think the banister was made to..." CAR!!!
Take that, mama. :)

How CUTE are those two little guys together in their diapers?! Loved this video. Didn't Rubin look shocked that his car actually made it all the way down the banister (and into mama's face!)??

Clearly the bannister WAS meant for cars...silly mom!
So stinkin' cute.

Adorable! "Is this a good choice or a bad choice?" Well, as Rubin proved, an obvious good choice. Can't wait to see what that banister and wall look like in a few weeks...

Oh, Em, I BUSTED OUT laughing when Rubes sent that car flying! Hilarious.

I loved seeing a little taste of life in your house...crazy, but fun! So we're up for getting together when you're back from heaven on earth Mexico?!? Si would love to get in on all that boy stuff.

I loved that you asked if it was a good choice or bad choice and then the car actually made it down. So funny! They are too cute!!!!

Love how Rubin wants to be just like his big brother, following him everywhere. Lots of fun times to be had!

first, your house is sooo not messy!!! i'm not sure what to expect at my house with 2 little boys, seeing that it is a disaster with 1 little boy!!!

second, your boys are adorable! the diapers, the playing together, and the cars on the railing! seriously so cute!

well, ruby showed you didn't he? it was a good choice. i love it. i burst out laughing. and i also love the "can i see, can i see?" we have to be so incognito to try and get natural photos and videos of our kids. super cute. and do you mean the train tracks they were using are train tracks everywhere? hardly em! but we don't need to talk about messy houses...i know how beautifully clean you keep your house when you can.

Wow... I *am* so behind!

There's so many great tidbits in here... but Rubin's face is priceless! Oh, and his stair climbing skills are insanely good!

And if that is a disaster, I'd hate to hear of what you think of my house...
