Let the truth be told, on Tuesday.

My vacuum cleaner sat like this for nearly a week... In. This. Same. Spot. I didn't even get around to using it, and I didn't want to put it away, because I knew that it still needed to be done. I stubbed my toe on it and cursed at it at least a (baker's) dozen times...

This pile of laundry moved from the dryer to the bed to the floor back to the bed to the floor and to the bed again before it was folded. Once it was folded, it sat in the laundry basket for at least 2 and a half days before it made it to it's rightful owner's closet.

i love honesty. We all do those things, we just may not blog about it. Great post.

And you've had 3 boys at home. With you. By yourself. The very fact that you've lived to blog about this is worth celebrating!

We usually wear all the clothes in our laundry basket before they ever need to be folded. It's great!

Um, yeah... did you sneak into my home? And, WOW, is that a new vacuum???

The laundry is piled on a MADE BED. Now that's impressive.

Oh, the reality of it all. I love it. You do realize that most of us are just like this but we DON'T have the excuse of three little boys to take care of as well. How embarrassing (for us)....

sometimes i rerun the washing machine so i don't have to switch it yet. and then sometimes later when it's ready again, i'll hit the fluff on the dryer and walk away because they have been sitting through TWO cycles. :)

Oh yes, that is so very familiar. I so get it. I could add a picture of the pile of papers on my counter that never seem to disappear and the shoes by the door that never get put away... But really where is the sense of accomplishment with housework when two seconds after you finish the job a child comes by and undoes it?!

ooohhh...what kind of vacuum is that?

My dusting stuff (dust rag & spray) have been sitting in various rooms...for DAYS. I finally did one room yesterday...only to move the "stuff" to another room. If it were not for my DH folding laundry, I would live out of a laundry basket ALL THE TIME. I hate folding laundry almost as much as I hate putting it away. Nice honesty. Thank you. It makes us share our honesty with you too.

My vacuum cleaner also sat in the same place for about a week with dog hair growing in big old piles around it. Shhhhssshh--don't tell anyone--but sometimes the dishes in the sink for a good 12-24 hours before they are put into the dishwasher. So goes life. And we will all look back on these days and smile.

Hey, you're "real" like the rest of us! Sometimes other things take priority, right?! I think your vacuum cleaner looks real nice right there!!! :)

i love how you wrote that your laundry moves around. i can't tell you how many times i put it on my bed in hopes it will make me fold it before i drift off to sleep. wrong! it never works and i just end up moving it all somewhere else!
